Our dad loved...

well.  He loved gardening, making friends, cuddling his grandchildren, trying to get Adele to eat tomatoes, teaching us how to ski and swim, and fish and widdle.  He loved to go on four wheel adventures with his colleagues and dear friends.  He loved to tell stories, about politics, about justice, about doing the right thing, about thinking about other people, their lives, their challenges, their accomplishments.  My dad cared deeply for his fellow man--women--human---he believed in world full of kindness, equality, dignity.  We learned so many lessons from our dad--lessons we hope to carry in our daily lives and pass on to our children.
